Types of Embroidery

  Contract Embroidery - Customer Supplied Material

Customers may bring items into DKM Embroidery for contract decoration.   Customer - owned garments are given the same professional handling as all of our products.

  Embroidered Emblems -- logos at a lower cost

Custom designed embroidered emblems are a great way to produce company logos at low cost.  Emblems can have heat seal backing so that they may be sewn on or applied with an iron.  Up to nine colors of thread, metallic threads, 3D puff lettering are all available.  Minimum order is just 100 pcs, delivery takes two weeks from artwork approval.

  Specialty Embroidery - Appliqué, UV

As with most industries, DKM Embroidery has several unique processes available.

 

Appliqué - Appliqué is used when you have a large logo or image with a substantial portion in one color.  Fabric is sewn to the garment to fill the color area and then detail is sewn over the fabric.  In addition to a unique look, there tends to be less stitches in the design -- which results in a lower cost.

UV Sensitive Thread - This thread changes from white to color when exposed to ultra violet sunlight.   Great for tone-on-tone logos.

Variegated Thread - Variegated thread is used to trim the edge of a design with multi colors.  This process can be attractive, but is limited in scope.
